Title: DMs Crash on login
Post by: Garradeoso on June 17, 2012, 02:51:28 PM
Uhm, hello ^^.
Sorry if this question is already written or answered, I searched it and didn't find anything but this (http://prc.athasreborn.com/index.php?topic=1399.msg5885#msg5885) (And it doesn't have an answer)

I'm trying to get a PW running PRC and CEP together, though, every time I log in as a DM the game crashes (Not the server, but the game). We're thinking it might be an overload of the blueprints in the Aurora, but our scripter says its not likely to be so.
Can somebody help us please?.

Thanks in advance.

You probably have a buckup copy of your module without PRC, right? If you do, you can try this to check if it's palette resource limit issue:
1. open your backup mod in nwhak
2. extract all *.itp files
3. make a buckup copy of PRC module
4. open it in nwhak and import/overwrite all *.itp files with those from your old module - save the module
This should reset your palette limit.

Uhm, I can't open a mod in the nwhak.
Maybe you are talking about a hak?.

You actually should be able to.

You can open a module file in nwhak. Just type in the module name in 'file open' dialog or rename the mod to hak.

So... what was the problem? DM palette limit?

Exactly, yes.
Even though I recommended to delete some things from the palette, we kept everything :P.
