Hi all, once again i would need help on a build. I would like to make a wizard/tank shifter. I will take EK as my third class to boost AB as high as possible but I was wondering if I should spend a lots of points in strenght to boost AB even more or if I should spend my attributes points in INT to get more spells instead. Anyone as advices for me?
thx all

When you say Shifter, do you mean the Shifter (PnP) class or the Shifter class that's built into NWN?
In either case, you probably don't want to put a bunch of points into strength if you're planning to be shifted most of the time (and if you're not, why bother with being a Shifter?), because the shifted forms typically ignore the strength of you true form. So put your points into INT to get more spells instead.

I meant the PnP shifter form. I thought the PnP shifter was only giving a magical bonus to your atributes (up to +12) because people were unable to code it in a way that it would change your stats accordingly to your shifted form. Well it was the case back in the day (didnt play in 4 years).

I'm actually the one who is currently working on the PnP Shifter class.
It's true that it can only boost your STR by +12, but it compensates for this by directly boosting your AB if it has to. For instance, if your STR is 16, and you shift to a form with STR 36, the PnP shifter will add 12 to your STR (which boosts your AB by 6) and then adds an additional +4 to your AB (and to damage) to compensate for the missing 8 STR points. As far as I know, it has been this way for a long time. The next version of PRC will also take into account any STR boosting equipment, whih previous versions did not do.

As far as I know, it has been that way for a long time--certainly since before I started working on it.
