Title: Warlock Attack Rolls

Hi everyone,

I recently went for a new character on NWN 1 with the PRC, and chose Warlock. I've been having issues with the ranged touch attack rolls, initially I thought it was due to a lack of any kind of bonuses, but the chance of hitting hasn't been improving all that much.

I'm currently a level 6 Warlock with 14 DEX and Weapon Focus (Ray), I should have an attack bonus of 4 (BAB) + 2 (DEX modifier) + 1 (Weapon Focus Ray) if not mistaken. However, I've been having values between -5 and +4 (and of course, then the d20 base roll). Can anyone help me with what's wrong here? I thought it should be around between +3 and +10 (the betweens being due to size modifier situations and the like).

Just wanted to say, after enabling PRC_COMBAT_DEBUGGING, I noticed the values entirely. BAB was 4, Feat Boni was 1 and Modifier Boni was 2, it suddenly changed to -3 when enemy was somewhat close. It was when I noticed, it's due to Point Blank Shot missing.
I'm not entirely familiar with ruleset out of it's use in computer games hence why I had not notice this. Considering this isn't the first time, is there any chance of changing the wording on the feat description from

Quote

Specifics: A character with this feat negates the -4 penalty for using missile weapons in melee, and gains an additional +1 to attack and damage with ranged weapons when the target is within 15 feet.
Use: Automatic.

to (or similar)

It would somewhat make it a little clearer.

Again apologize for my lack of knowledge on the ruleset, alas I'm still searching for a place around here where I can purchase some pen and paper DnD goodness ;_;
