Title: Could Not Run NWN Script Compiler
Post by: Aweseven on January 26, 2011, 08:43:11 PM
Everytime I attempt to run the module updater I get that message, is there something I'm doing wrong is there anyway to fix this?

Do you have clcompile.exe file in your NWN\utils directory?

I do have said file, before the could not run message pops up I get the message that the clcompile.exe has stopped working

this means that for some reason script compiler could not compile merging scripts.

You could try to run clcompile.exe in command prompt and check what error message it returns. You might be able to fix it than.

I just had this problem after doing a manual installation of Darkness Over Daggerford. I had forgotten to put the nwcontinst.exe in my utils directory. After doing so the Module Updater ran as normal. Seems this problem is caused by an incompatible nwcontinst.exe file.
