Help / Can't find switches
« on: November 22, 2014, 11:16:46 AM »
Hello everyone.

I'm playing the Original Campaign with the prc 3.5.

I would like to alter the switches so that henchmen, familars and whatnot do not leech XP. According to the sticky up here and the prc_inc_switches.nss file, I should set something like

PRC_XP_HENCHMAN_PARTY_COUNT_x100                    int 0
PRC_XP_DOMINATED_PARTY_COUNT_x100                   int 0
PRC_XP_ANIMALCOMPANION_PARTY_COUNT_x100      int 0
PRC_XP_FAMILIAR_PARTY_COUNT_x100                       int 0
PRC_XP_SUMMONED_PARTY_COUNT_x100                   int 0

right? The problem is: I can't find these switches. When I go to PRC options and go to alter the switches, they're not there. The only XP-related switches that I can find are the LA/racial HD related ones and

PRC_XP_USE_BIOWARE_XPTABLE.

None of the others are there, including PRC_XP_USE_PNP_XP and the slider.

What's going on? Can someone help me please?

And another, although minor issue, is that I cannot seem to make personal_switch.2da work for me. It asks me if I'd like to read the switches through it, but then it doesn't change anything. I had to go through all the switches and manually change the ones that interested me. Not a big deal, but maybe it's related to the previous issue?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to this PRC thing, but I really like the idea of being able to play more classes, races and such on NWN. So first of all, thank you for the effort of all this.
Now, I've got a problem with the prc pack, though. I'm playing a game with both expansions installed and patched to the latest release. I downloaded the PRC pack version 3.4 beta and installed it, with the .exe. Then I let the utility configure the modules, of whatever, altough I got some warnings. It said it had to overwrite some settings and that could have caused problems. Indeed, when I try to play as a mystic theurge in Hordes of the Underdark, I -have- problems. Simply, most of the spells are not working. Not all of them actually, but something like 90%. It always says something about scripts, strange letters and then it says "stack troppo vuoto", which would be translated in english (I'm italian) as "too empty stack", or something like that. Is anyone able to help me please? I would really love to play as a mystic theurge!
Thank you! ^^
