It's an adjustment by the PRC to remove an excessive speed bonus Bioware implemented that's unique to player characters. There is also the implementation of other speed alterations based on race and armour, since in D&D both of those affect speed too.

You can't delevel/alter most PRC content. It breaks things badly, as you've noticed. Best practice is to let the player bank XP/gear and remake the PC.

Glad to hear it worked out. In general the PRC overwrites all the module scripts, which is where most conflicts come from. Our Module Updater tool tries to merge things, but it's not always perfect.

It'll be grabbing the updated PRC.tlk and merging it with the existing one for that module, most likely. It's actually pretty easy with the right tools to do it, although I suspect that if you just use the latest PRC tlk, it'll all work out, because we have ACP content included by default.

Easiest way to disable classes (aside from using the variables) is to create a hak that sits above the PRC, put a copy of our classes.2da into it, and make sure to set those classes you don't want visible to PlayerClass 0 in the 2da.
