For 3.5 Beta 1, does Expanded Knowledge not take manifester levels "gained" from Practiced Manifester into account? AFAIK, Expanded Knowldge requires a Manifester Level of 3 and when I reach that with Practiced Manifester, it's not showing up.

Practiced Manifester is implemented just like practiced spellcaster - it increases your effective manifester level for level dependent power variables (duration, power resistance checks etc), but is not treated as an actual increase in manifester level (no new powers known, no new power points etc.) This feat cannot be used to meet class or feat prerequisites.
