 Hello there fellow adventures.

Before I get into the issues, I will tell you what exactly I have done so far.

 Downloaded the following:

 - Setup3.5rc1a.exe
 - 3.5beta2_merges.rar / prc_cep2_merge.rar (tried with both)
 - latest CEP (2.4)

 1. I have unzipped the CEP content and placed it into the NWN folder (into the correct folders - I hope)

-> did I install it properly or do I have to do something else?

 2. Installed PRC
 3. Used the updater to merge PRC and CEP into the original campaign.

It now takes a bit longer to load the modules.
I have the new prestige classes popping up at character creation.

Problem - If I try to make a new character to start the original campaign (starting with Prelude) and if I pick something new that was added (like Battle Cleric as a package etc.) the game crashes after I press start, after finishing the character.

I can start the module with a generated character.

 Questions:

 - can I play as a new race or monster in the original campaign?
 - have I done something wrong during the process?
 - must I do something else?

 Notes:

Some feats don't have any description/images next to them.

 Thank you so much.

I crave after playing the original campaign with the new resources.

 Thank you.

L.E. - I managed to sort things out and can start the prelude now.

 Some more questions:

 - how can I access the new races/classes and the other new content the PRC brings to the table if I got it into the original campaign?

No more questions for now. Will update if I find some more.

Check out FAQ section in top menu ;)

May I ask why do you add CEP to original campaign? (I understand Project Q - it overrides many default models, but CEP...?)

Well, I do not know a lot about the resources.

Doesn't CEP also add content or it is mainly targeted towards "developers" and I only need it for modules that already have CEP only content?

 What is Project Q?

Thank you so much for taking the time helping a newbie.

There are many interesting things in CEP but 99% of them won't be available in Original Campaign. If you're not a module builder than you only need it to play modules that already use it. Adding 4GB of haks just to use couple of new heads/robes doesn't make much sense for me.

Project Q on the other hand contains many improved creatures (new goblins, undead, orcs, ogres, spiders, etc...) which make the game looks much better. I saw OC files with PQ installed somewhere on the Vault, but I can't find them right now :/

Anyway I think PQ is better choice for OC than CEP ;)
