I'm having problems with my Crusader. Unless I dont understand the steely resolve schtick isnt working. Am I supposed to take regular damage AND magic damage at the end of my round?
When a fighter hits me I take regular damage, there is no damage resist, temp hit points, heal back or anything. Then, at the end of my round I take 15 points of magic damage. This is pretty much regardless of how much damage I took the previous round. this is an 8th level human crusader only with nonmagic gear.
How is this supposed to work? Shouldn't I have damage reduction 15/- or something, then take the magic damage instead at the end of my turn. What mechanism is supposed to prevent the initial damage?
I've done the typical things, rest , re-equip, log out etc. Was this working on 3.3F?
