Hi, first of all awesome work.  Thanks for making a ten year old game still enjoyable.  Now on to my question:

Is it possible to make the warlock specific feats (Extra Invocation, and the Epic feats; paragon visionary et al.) selectable for prestige classes that allow invocation progression? It seems to make sense that these feats would be selectable for these prestige classes.  Currently I've been taking warlock levels every 3rd level for the feat selection, I'd prefer to be full Acolyte of the Skin by now. I'm no PnP guru but I have been playing dnd games for quite a while on computers, so excuse me if theres some rule that prevents this.

Thanks again for the effort put into this. Oh yeah, FIRST POST!

From what I know of the PRC, you can add selectable feats to any class or prestige class, so the raw answer of it its possible is yes. However it might not be desirable because those feats will always be selectable from that class.

For example, to make Warlock-only feats selectable from Acolyte of the Skin, those feast have to be added to Acolyte of the Skin. Anyone taking Acolyte of the Skin from then on, even if they are NOT a warlock, would get those feats as selectable.

I'm sure that's why the warlock feats are not already added to the several 'general' prestige classes that can advance warlock.

So, its unlikely to be included in the PRC directly, but if you wanted to do it for yourself locally its possible to do via editing the 2da files.

Great suggestion! I think it's possible to make those feats only selectable by warlocks...

Would they still show up for non-warlocks?

I'm kind of assuming that you would add them to the class list, and then de-level after if selected by a non-warlock.

Or is there another way to do it?

Awesome, would be very useful imo since this seems like the beefiest prestige class for invokers.

Actually, I was thinking more about this on my drive home from school today (priorities, am I right?)

Why shouldn't I be able to select, for example, the extra invocation feats regardless of the class I am levelling in?  It seems to me that if I qualify for the feat it should be selectable even if I'm taking a level of cleric.  I know that multiclass clerics and paladins can take divine might or extra turning even if they are gaining a level of rogue. Not sure if this is possible to code or if it would introduce any performance issues, or if it is against PnP rules in some way.

Thanks for the replies.  ;D
