Title: NWNX Usage
Post by: seraglio on July 21, 2012, 02:27:23 PM
Im trying to run a "local" server with NWNX so I can get permanent stat increases. When the feature was first implemented, I remember being able to do this successfully.

A recent heartwarder I made however did not have the permanent stat increases after restarting. I was wondering if there is a post or set of instructions on exactly how to do this..I seem to recall there was since I never ran a server instance before this feature was added and wouldnt have known how. I'm probably just missing a step somewhere.

All you have to do is install nwnx_funcs plugin in the same directory as NWNX. PRC code will detect and use it automatically.

Just went to the website. I did not have the plugin "functions". Is this something fairly new? I'm pretty sure my current installation worked at one point. Probably years ago.....

I'll let you know how it goes.

You can download nwnx_funcs from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mrnwnxstuff/files/ (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mrnwnxstuff/files/)

We had some reports that version 093 crashes the NWServer so I recommend using other version.
