Title: Game crashes when saving

Hello,

I've installed the PRC and applied it to my modules (just the basic campaigns). I've built my characters using the builder and all works well (and very very cool). However, when I try to save the game the screen goes black and the game eventually crashes. Auto-saves seem to work fine. This has happened every time for the 2-3 characters that I've built.

I searched the forums but did not find anything. I'm running Windows 7, NWN Platinum.

Did it work without the PRC?  I had this problem after upgrading to Windows 7 as well, even without the PRC; nwmain.exe needed to run with admin privileges (possibly some of the other exe's do as well; I gave it to them all, rather than testing to see which ones actually needed it :) )

Actually it did, I played for awhile before discovering the PRC. I do run the game client as administrator - that makes sense though, perhaps something else can't get permissions. I will look into that further.

Looks like it was just a coincidence because it was video card problems. I must not of played NWN long enough to run into the issue before hand because I re-installed fresh and had the same issue.

Anyways, I found this thread which describes the settings to change:

I have an nVidia GeForce8600 M GS. I installed the nvtray application an followed the screenshots given in the above thread (second post down) and it resolved the issue.
