Cons: d4?s, 2 attack / round (un-hasted), psi-focus (bogus!) mechanic (f-off, WotC!), fast Psi pp burn down @ max augment, manual psi-focus (bogus!) required for some meta-psi?s to work (twin Ecto-Shambler), quickslot shortage.

Notes:

1) Twinned Ecto-Shambler (34 hp / round when twinned - no SR, no save, no attack rolls, magical damage) on non-DR classes / opp?s is a great fire and forget power. You have to manually Psi-focus (bogus!)  (Ahem, f-off, WotC geniuses!) to twin the Shambler.

2) Energy Current (Kineticist only) ? max augment & meta-psi then make sure no one ?punks? you into attacking (breaks power). Does ~ 165 ? 330 hp / round (Cold Fort half, all others [fire, sonic, et. al.] Flex half) concentrating ? no pp drain. Do not use on high SR races unless Lower Spell Resistance is used first.

3) Energy Missile (Kineticist only) DC save is NOT a misprint, DC = 10 + 2 (base power level) + 1 / pp + ability mod. Max augment save ~ 50+ DC (Cold Fort half, all others [fire, sonic, et. al.] Flex half) for five twinned, max & empowered missiles. Cannot target same opp twice (arg!). Do not use on high SR races unless Lower Spell Resistance is used first.

4) If you don?t like a power choice (i.e. Mental Barrier = WotC trash!), use Psychic Reformation.

5) Psi-Meditation (aka Psi Medi-Wasting) was intentionally not taken (BS 3.5 mechanic).

6) Race was chosen over Illithid due to better natural AC, Con and Str bonuses.

Pro’s: 39th Sorcerer, 34th Wilder, High SR (race), decent caster hp (290), high buffed AC, saves, medium-high AB, epic spells, 1950 hp Epic Warding, 3 attack / round (un-hasted), decent Psi-healing powers, no smites, good chance to debuff opponents, low chance for opp’s to debuff, 2 more base spells / lev than Wizard CM build, Tumble class skill, high touch AC, can use light armor + shield when spells are gone, no unbuffed offhand Str nerf (WotC geniuses!), 483 base pp (543 Max Cha), 540 hp Crystal Shard (Twin + Max + Emp) – but must manually psi-focus (bogus!), access to Ecto-Shambler.

Cons: Psi-focus (bogus!) mechanic (f-off, WotC!) wastes five epic feats, manual psi-focus (bogus!) required for some meta-psi’s to work (twin Ecto-Shambler, major Shard blasts), mostly d4’s, only 11 psi powers (choose wisely, Grasshopper), limited spells known, fast Psi pp burn down @ max augment, no access to Psion discipline-specific powers (no Energy Current = sniffle), quickslot shortage.

3) Swarm of Crystals was not taken because the meta-psionics don’t work most of the time – even with manual psi-focus (bogus!).

4) If you play with Timestop “on”, choose Temporal Acceleration

5) Improved Meta-Psionics I & II use “Psi-Craft,” not Spellscraft as stated. Reduces Discipline by 6 points.

6) If you don’t like a power choice (i.e. Mental Barrier = WotC trash!), de-level or take Psychic Reformation.

7) Race was chosen over Illithid due to better natural AC and Con bonuses. Choose Zak-Rak if you want a stronger melee presence (+4 AB, +80 hp, -6 Cha).
