I am seeing at level ups that I have the option for an improved cast in armor feat. Thing is, I don't see any feat to allow me to cast in armor that I currently have to improve. If I take the feat, is it adding a light armor casting ability or does the DN have a cast in light armor ability that I don't see and taking the feat would allow casting in medium armor?

Dread Necros can cast in light armor & benefit from the Battle Caster feat. The flavor feat they should be getting at 1st level was omitted, but the Armored Mage ability still works.

Just to be clear (for me).
1) Dread Necro's have an invisible armored caster feat for light armor at level 1.
2) Taking the additional feat at level up would allow the DN to cast in medium armor.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Correct, I asked xwarren about this a couple of weeks ago & it was just left out on accident.

One more question.
I see in the DN description that when you reach 20th level you get the Lich template. Does this mean you can't go up past 20 levels of DN and convert to the lich template?
Also, if you do convert to the Lich class, what happens if the lich is your 4th class?

Since when has the NWN engine allowed you to take 4 classes. I am guessing you mean your 3rd class?

My character is a Cleric, Dread Necro, True Necro. I'm curious to know what (if anything) will happen when my DN class hits the 20th level?
Also, for a single class DM I am curious to know if the DN goes higher then 20 levels or you turn into a Lich and are done with DN levels?

Maximum level for Dread Necromancer is 20 - no epic levels, so you have to level up in another class after that point.
Dread Necro doesn't take levels in lich class, but gains lich template which add all bonuses from being a lich. Templates do not use class slots.
Nothing strange should happen with your character.

Thanks!!
I was wondering if you could answer my Deadly Chill question in the Spells, Feats, and Skills section?

Dread Necro's lich template abilities Fear aura and lich touch, are you treated as a level 1 lich when they are used or does it use the Dread necro's levels? or Do you have to take the lich class to get the stronger ones?

Both abilities use HD (sum of levels in all classes) of your character, not the class level - they will have exactly the same power if you take lich class.
