Sweet, 10 more caster levels would be very nice.  I'll definitely be checking that out.  :-)  

Does it still count as one of your 3 classes?  Or does it act more like a change in race?

i.e., could you go Wiz 3/Cle 3/Mystic Theurge 8 and then add the lich template?

Not sure what you mean by template...if you mean the standard way using the prestige class and crafting, I agree, it's just a pain when it doesn't work with custom modules.  I've had some where I can't even make the phylactery, some where I can, but can't make soul gems, and some where I can do both.   Leads to some interesting difficulties when I'm lan-ing with my friends or my wife.

Is there a way to place soul gems using the toolset?  I keep playing on custom mods where the prc craft lich items doesn't work for making soul gems (for some random reason).

So rather than always going into the dm client, or loading my char into a core mod, making the gems, and then loading back into my game every time I level up, I was hoping I could just make a one stop shop for the gems when I end up finding out I'm in a mod where I can't craft them.

Help / Custom Items and the PRC

I'm trying to create an item that will summon a merchant at a particular spot in Mordenkainen's Mansion.  I think the script is fine, and I've synced the item tag and the script name.  

However I can't figure out how to link the item's ability with the "OnActivateItem" module properties script slot, because the default module scripts are overridden by the prc.

Was just wondering if this was something that's possible?   Or because the prc overrides the default scripts for the module script lines, is this something I need to do a different way (or which is impossible)?

On a similar note, if I design a module with custom items, and then install the prc, does it overwrite all the tag-based scripts I enabled using the default OnModuleLoad/OnActivateItem scripts?

Sorry if any of the above doesn't make sense.  I'm a little new at this.

Help / Multiclassing Question

Is there a way to break the game's limitation on multiclassing (that you can only have three different classes)?  I searched but coudn't find anything on point, and I'm not sure if there is a switch that could be altered to allow for 4+ classes.

So I'm not sure how active the continued modding for the prc is going to be.  The work you all have done is AMAZING--in its effect, breadth, and detail.  But if additional prestige classes are being programmed in, I thought I would request that the Radiant Servant of Pelor (complete divine) be one of them that gets added.  I wouldn't think it would be too hard (though I know absolutely nothing about programming) as mostly it just ends up empowering and maximizing healing spells.

Just a thought.  Again, if at this point the main goal is bug fixes etc., no worries.

Thanks again for all your hard work.  I was never a fan of nwn when it first came out because of the limited character options etc.  You all brought this game to the fore of my playlist BIG TIME.  Fantastic job.

So I could be totally off on this (I don't have too  much experience), but IF it is possible to open the core content in the toolset (which I don't know if it is), wouldn't it simply be a matter of changing the game settings to ramp up the experience multiplier?  While this might not remove the cap, it would increase the amount of experience per encounter, and thereby speed up level acquisition.

Just a thought.

Help / Character Creator--Persistent Character Model

Hey all, I've been trying to make some characters and I've noticed that no matter what I choose for the model type, it stays with the default (Hound Archon, Rakshasa, Half-Giant, etc.).  Is there a switch I need to change to make alternative models work?  

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I did some searches last night, and couldn't find anything quite on point.

Does anyone know if the level 5 ability (enlarge spell--a greater version of the widen spell ability gained at level 3) works?  I just reached level 5, and the ability does not show up in the radial.  I'm wondering if the earlier "widen spell" is just enhanced at level 5, or if this should be a separate radial option, etc.

Any ideas would be appreciated, widen spell is fun, but the greater the radius the more fun the conflagration.

Very Nice.  You all do great things, and a great job.

One question, do we know if the 3.3h merge pack listed at the link above include Fluffy's updated .tlk file?  I checked the dates and I don't think it does.  Since I know pretty much nothing about such things, I'm just curious if the 3.3h merge .hak and .hif files will work with the Fluffy's .tlk file created for the 3.3g merge.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I'm not the most tech savvy person out there.  :-)

Again, thank you all for the hard work you put in--it adds incredibly to the fun.

Uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything BUT the CEP (had an issue with whip proficiency due to a faulty merge...figured that might be the problem here too).

Still doesn't work.

Yes, I took weapon proficiency - whip.  

I'll create a module and test it with just the prc now.

Pretty much self-explanatory.  I make a new character (any class), take the whip proficiency, and in all of the core modules, and at least some custom modules, I am unable to equip whips.  The error "You lack proficiency in the weapon" or whatever it is comes up in the dialog box.  

There was one module I was able to equip whips in...Penultima, but the second I move the character to anything else, the whips unequip.

Any ideas?
