Help / Warlock's Dark invocations
« on: June 15, 2010, 10:12:35 PM »
I thought of a possible workaround if you can't solve it any other way.  There are 9 Warlock Invocations that have a 24 hour duration and provide a bonus.  While playing pen and paper I tell the GM to assume they are always on unless I say otherwise.  Make selecting those 9 powers give you an always on feat.  Step two is to move all eldritch blast and all related Invocations to the combat maneuvers radial.  Not a perfect solution but it would leave plenty of room for the rest of the Invocations.

Edited for grammar.

Help / Leto Cheater Needs Help

After several hours playing around with it I figured out what feats I could avoid and still be able to level up.  PRC is finicky about what it blocks.  ^^  Then after all that work to get my Warlock/Soulknife to level up equal to the character I was remaking I realized that the combination just didn't work in practice.   (If anyone ever figures out a way to add in Gestalt I'll kiss them.)  To bad PRC is hung up on the 3.5 Soulknife.  It really is the most underpowered class in the game.  Spreading what amounts to two average weapons, and a couple of feats over 20 levels is a waste.  ^^ Now as a 3 level prestige class it would actually be worth while.  I ended up with a Bard that has one level each of Warlock and Spellfire Wielder.  And gave him damn near all feats and class features from the vanilla classes that you don't have to activate from the radial menu.  As long as I avoided the Crafting feats PRC mostly ignores the vanilla feats and class features.

Anyone know of a workaround to make them show up?

^^  Friendly warnings are fine.  ;)  I'm just sick of the normal "don't cheat and you won't have that problem" response   I figured it would take a bit of editing, but it wouldn't be the first time I've spent more time making a game work how I want it than I actually stay interested in playing it.  Most of my PC skills come from trying to get software to do things it doesn't want to do.

First off, I payed for the game, I payed for my computer, I've played through the game several times, I decide how much my time is worth.  In other words, keep your anti cheating lectures to yourself.

I just installed the recent PRC when I saw the Warlock class.  I grabbed the PRC version of Leto, loaded up the PRC character creator.  Loaded it up in Leto to give myself my standard skill bonuses and mile long list of feats and class features.  Got in game.  Leveled up...

Had PRC unlevel me because I'm not a legal character...

What do I need to edit to fix that?

P.S.  It's been about 3 years since I played around in the .2da's or did any NWN editing so if someone would be so kind as to step by step anything more complex than using Notepad.
