Help / Re: Getting PRC to work with GOG's Diamond Edition
« on: March 27, 2020, 10:15:18 PM »
Is this for taking them at first level? You need the Java Character Creator for that, since NWN Classic doesn't let custom content be used at character creation.

Ah, makes sense. I`ve leveled up and managed to pick them as usual.

I found an error when trying to compile the files using make.bat, I get the message "NMAKE : fatal error U1045: spawn failed : Invalid argument"

This happens every time right after it compiling "prc_newspellbook.hak"

Any clues?

Help / Getting PRC to work with GOG's Diamond Edition
« on: March 27, 2020, 08:04:48 PM »
I had the mod working fine on EE, but after discovering that you can't edit classes with the SVN Access in EE, I got myself the Diamond Edition.

The game works fine, but all the PRC classes are blacke out, much like a prestige class you don't fufill the requirements to.

I think the problem is that no Documents directory was created during instalation for some reason? The override, database, hak, etc folders are all in C:\GOG Games\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\

I tried both the manual install and the .exe install and no luck.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Help / Do maneuvers have no attack animation?
« on: March 26, 2020, 11:03:30 AM »
Whenever I use a maneuver, I get no animation at all. The character just stands still and then I get the damage/miss message pop-up above the enemy.

Is this normal?

Thanks!

Help / Re: PRC: Permanent Movement-Speed Debuff

Could you or someone else please explain where to find these "switches" and how to toggle them off?

I was having the same problem and solved it.

Assuming the mod is installed, go to the override folder and search for a file named personal_switch.2da and open it with the notepad.

Search for the lines the other user mentioned and change the SwitchValue column from 1 to 0. Save the file and start the game. Have fun.

What are the odds that on game so old, two people would be having the same problem at a similar time, huh? I created this account just because I happened to notice you posted this this year! Lol
