Help / Noob Help - Removing +ECl from levelling up

Hey Gang,
My wife wanted to learn to play, wants to play the Zakya Rakshasa...but HATES the +7.
Since it's my job to find a fix (or else...)
Is there a way to do it? She just wants to play for fun so its not a big deal imho, but I cannot figure it out.
