we already know how the PRC team simulates a lack of constitution score (undead): a + 12 to said constitution.

no idea? :( I know the rules say to treat a non-existing ability like a +0, but honestly that would imbalance the game a lot if applied literally (all those creatures with a 10 in those vacant stats...)

Does a 0 ability score equal a -5 on skill checks or an autofail on skill checks related to that ability?

I think it only equals a -5, is not an autofail.
