hi all, I was wondering how this feat is supposed to work. when I use it I get a +4 bonus to AB but here is the description of the feat:

Specifics: Because the arcane duelist values successful hits over actual damage dealt, she can subtract damage from her chosen melee weapon's potential damage and add the same amount to her attack bonus. However, the weapon must do a minimum 1 point of damage.

Is there a way to chose the amount of damage you want to substract to get the bonus or is it automaticaly - 4 damage/ +4 AB?

Thx

Looking at the script, it looks like it always adds an attack bonus of one less than the maximum amount of physical damage that a basic weapon of that type can cause (in other words, it ignores enhancements, damage bonuses, etc. on the weapon). What kind of weapon are you using?

Also, to me it doesn't look like the script subtracts from the damage at all, although it should. Is that working correctly for you?
