Hi,
I'm using PRC v3.1 (I think, that's what the title of the included manual says anyway).  Just created a new Fighter 1/Sorcerer 6/Eldritch Knight 8 character starting HotU, but I can't seem to cast any spells.  Using the normal sorcerer spellbook on the radial menu only shows the spells I learnt before taking any EK levels, and won't cast, the spells do nothing except produce an error message saying 'use new spellbook on class radial'.  However, I get the same problem if I use the other spellbook too, which contains all the spells I picked in dialogue after gaining EK levels.  None of them do anything, which leaves me a bit stumped.

Just to clarify: I right-click to bring up radial menu, go to special abilities -> sorcerer (there's only fighter and sorcerer options here, no EK) -> more special abilites, then pick the spell I want to cast.  It pretends to cast, gives me a 'castings left' number (which decreases as I try recasting) but the spell does nothing and I get the same message about using a different spellbook.

I have previously created a duskblade who had no problems casting spells through that menu.

Anyone got any ideas?

Use the normal sorcerer spell radial.

The normal sorcerer spell radial doesn't work either - just gives the same error message (I would assume that is what the error message was intended for). It also only contains spells I learnt taking normal sorcerer levels.

Upgrade to 3.3h rc2 if you haven't already.

I've got a 20 sorc/3 archmage that has the same problem, and am currently using the most recent official release version of the PrC.  Using the radial spellbook gives the same error message as using the regular spellbook.  Some of the spell animations still happen - fireball, for one - and when using the radial dial a spell of the appropriate level is subtracted, but the spell doesn't have any effect.

Excellent, just upgraded to the latest version (3.3g rc3, I think) and it works fine!  Hurrah!
Only slight issue discovered so far is I can't cast Greater Fireburst - it's supposed to be targetted on the PC, and I can't target it on open floor or an enemy, but if I try and target it on myself I get 'invalid target due to PVP settings' error message.  Still, everything else seems to be working fine.

That's probably a bug, but glad everything else is working for you.

EDIT - Nevermind. Unbelievably enough, I got it to work. I have no idea how or what I did, but I can at least cast spells now.

Hrm.  Could you tell me which version of the PrC Pack you got it to work under?  I still haven't managed it.

Sorry, I thought I've fixed that. It will be fixed in next release (hopefully very soon).

same problem with spellsword aswell. Also all the new spell names in the new spellbook are wrong like IceStorms  new name there is " Bard's Craft Trap" >_> All the spells names are some Bards ability names instead.
