Modify Templates

I'm trying to make some changes to the (Demi)Lich template and sems like I'm missing some key step.
I extracted scripts related to lich template from the PRC .hak file and changed tmp_t_lich.nss to allow other races obtain undeath. I also compiled the script into tmp_t_lich.ncs and placed it in the override (this was the only file that had any race check so I assume this one is used to check if a race is valid)

Once this is working I would also like to change the stat bonus lich gets into a flat stat bonus that will be a permanent change, just like Red Dragon Disciple stat boosts from original game.

Can't help with the coding, etc.

Was just going to suggest a couple of options:
1) Template DR
2) Lich class DR

Pretty sure xwarren spelled out the DR difference once upon a millennia ago. I just couldn't find the thread.

By default, it looks like it is 15 / (bludgeon & magic + others?) v. 30/+20.

Unfortunately, I already have all classes I can, so can't add lich class anyway. The template/race restriction I think I figured out, must be something minor I am missing.

You could have two lich templates: Light & Heavy duty.

Limited on the number of templates?

I can't take the lich template due to outsider race, I've found that the file I mentioned in the fist post has the test code for race which I changed to allow outsiders, yet the change does not work, so my guess is I'd need to "wire" it somehow into the campaigns.
