Psion: psionic blast causes massive lag

casting psionic blast causes my PC to freeze for 15-20 seconds, because of the extremely laggy animation of the power. how can i disable the visual special effects of this power?

This is one of the bugs I mentioned elsewhere, that I had wanted to post before "The Great Crash"  .

The history on this one is that the power originally didn't have any visual effect. I asked if one could be added and kindly they did it (in version 3.3d I believe). However we got more than we bargained for ! The effect is a MASSIVE explosion of white energy (makes the Hellball look like a little flatulence), which IS pretty neat, if a little hard on the hardware (and also a little unrealistic for a low-level psion).

I'm gonna do some extensive psionic power testing once the final 3.3g is out and put all the bugs I find in the "Bugs" thread.

On a different note what are the optimization changes for PWs by Demitar you mentioned in the post for 3.3G?

Also will there be (Epic) Expanded Knowledge feats? (I know I'm starting to nag on this one, but its one of my absolute favorite feats for my PnP Psion - just imagine... Astral Construct and the other goodies on your Kineticist... B))
(How about Defensive Manifesting?... no?... maybe?

We are not planning on adding those feats. Will change the effect, also.
