Ok so I looked on the forum to attempt to find the answer for this problem and I thought I had it but the link was broken. So this is my problem. I have a lich I made and He gives an intelligence bonus which in turn gives me bonus spell slots. However, these bonus spell slots are lost when I start resting and the bonus spell slots come back when he finishes resting. I understand its some kind of permanent stat bonus issue but I cannot for the life of me find the solution. Any suggestions?

The Lich class adds a "green" item-like temp boost that doesn't count toward bonus spells. IIRC, they zero out until the rest is over, then re-apply. Note that Lich + item bonuses are capped at 12. That means no CON items help at all & IWC only gets 2 points.

The most straight forward way is to make the ability mods permanent via console commands. That has the effect of having 10 item stat boost points in IWC & 12 in CON w/o any items. Like a L10 lich isn't going to have +12 in all stats. . .

~Debug Mode 1
ModCHA 10
ModCON 12
ModINT 10
ModWIS 10
Debug Mode 0

Same "temp" bonus issue with Epic Spell Transcendent Vitality. Add it via console.

I appreciate it. I'm going to try this ASAP. I'll get back to you when I get results.

Nope, still having a problem keeping those spell slots. The console commands didn't work. It doesn't make the intelligence bonus stay permanent rather than re-appmt after rest. Any other ideas?

Forget the class, just use the template instead.

What does the template  do for me?

Well unfortunately do to the fact my mindflayer wizard isn't a humanoid, I cannot use the much template. I have to use the class.

Well, illithid wizard is already kinda overpowered, making him a lich would not change much.
The only thing i might suggest is that you (try to, at least) add yourself a necropolitan template (to become an undead) and just mod your stats to match lich's bonuses. And don't forget, you need to be in singleplayer for DebugMode 1 to take effect; if you are joining your server via local network, it wouldn't work.

Console mods should work in single player. If you save from s-player, can you upload the .bic to server?

L10 lich DR is way better than the template. Template has unlimited Harm & uber-DC Weird +10 caster levels.  Melee Glitches (Gladiator Liches) take the class, caster's go template.

Pull down the Mind Flayer Necro build and see if you can run / modify it:

You may be able to use the PRC Leto to swap the stuff out.

I don't play on servers unfortunately. But I play on single player religiously. Now I'm not exactly sure how I can upload the .bic so I'll need a small tutorial on that and as for the sample mindflayer build you have me, it seems good for people that want to build something overpowered, but I'm not exactly trying to make anything OP, even though he technically is, I was just looking for some self RP and I thought just mindflayer wizard/archmage was just to plain. Thats the only reason why im throwing lich in. Now I may have messed up the console mods. Do I just ~ then type in ModINT 10 after I debug mode? Or am I doing it incorrect? It gave me the message "entered target mode" is that what I should be getting?

"It gave me the message "entered target mode" is that what I should be getting?"

Yes. It's asking for which character to add or subtract the points to. When you're done with the left click, the score will have changed by the amount you added. It should be permanent and give bonus spells. If you want to reduce points, do ModCHA -X, etc.

Here is a list of L10 class builds (plenty of fun, non-OP builds):

If you're willing to go the lengths to set up your own server (or play on Linux) then NWNX provides you with a way to count the race and class bonuses from illithid and lich as base stats rather than stat buffs. I am not an expert so cannot give you a detailed walkthrough on how to do that though.

Other than that I thought that if you create a character using NWN CC then your race stat bonuses are included as base stats in game? Though I cannot be sure ;)
Ideas are bulletproof.
