Ive just discovered that the epic toughness feat is a little bit useless/unbalanced since its worst than greater constitution in 3.0/nwn however in 3.5 they have already fixed this, well heres my suggestion:
What about implementing this new feat (a substitute for the default one); 3.5 Epic toughness, gives 30 hp, can be selected any number of times, its effect stacks.
the 3.0 epic toughness is worst than great constitution because: 2x great constitution on 40 lvl = 40 hp + save bonus (maybe even other bonuses granted by a increased con value, like having more con points too loose to poison and stuff before reaching 0 - *death*)
2x epic toughness in any lvl = 40 hp only.
Assuming that everyone plans to reach lvl 40 in any build...

This would only be possible on multiplayer servers using NWNX :P

And What about Epic Deflection (just like in nwn 2) which allow the character to deflect the first two projectiles... dont even think about infinite deflecton (which allows the character to deflect infinite shots... good bye ranged atackers)
... And the ranger's Death of Enemies, works just like devastating critical but for favoured enemies only and the dc is based on wisdom.
I dont know if this feats were not added yet because of the engine or because none checked them...

btw there are 2 solutions for the epic toughness lack of power; remove the odd number epic toughness feats and change the req, so there will be only 5 epic toughness feats, each one of them granting 40 hp... a little OP. another solution is to remove all the epic toughness except the number 2, so 1 feat = 40 hp, just like the toughness feat on lvl 40.

This second option is good if you balance all the classes by putting one tree of great_atributte (STr, dex, con...) based on the class main atributte as bonus feats for that class... Since each class will have a reduced number of feat options, this will be a  compensation.

xwarren means that engine limitations prevent custom content from altering max HP directly without NWNX. (A good example is the Legendary Dreadnought prestige class, which uses Epic Toughness instead of adding max HP directly.)
