Spellcasting issues

I'm having trouble with a couple classes for spellcasting, Favored Soul and Dusk Blade...

The spells show up on the radial dial and I can "cast" them, but then I get the message that I'm out of castings.  Even immediately after resting.  Stats are high enough for casting, but no dice.  Any help would be appreciated.

Which module? Which PRC version? Did you get the option to pick which spells to learn on entering the module and/or leveling up?

Do you use some kind of leveler module? Some other people had the same problem. My advice:

There is a small glitch with spontaneous casters - you have to initialize the spell book:  when you try to cast a spell for the first time (doesn't matter how many times you have rested before), you'll get "you have no casting of **** left" message, just rest after that and you should have your spells available (and should be able to choose arcane archer).

Thanks. Resting after trying to cast fixed it.

Not that it matters now...I'm running 3.3G on a Realms of Trinity II server.
