I love what you guys have put together here.  Thanks so much.

I was trying to install Shadows over Heliopolis and I am kind of stuck.  I NWN Diamond Edition from GOG.  I managed to get the full PRC working with the OC stuff and played through HoTU.  I was also able to create my own PRC character after hours of trying to figure it out.

So anyway I installed SoH and the two supporting haks from this link  http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=3940

Of course it didn't work.  I found out I needed to use the PRC Module updater so I tried.  At that point I found that I needed CEP content (which I didn't even know existed until I got the error message!)  So I searched the web and found the CEP content.  I put all of the .tlk files in the tlk folder and the hak files in the hak folder.  Of course I did everything backwards and out of order because I was responding to error messages and using those as search criteria to Google search into this site and the NWVault site.

It seems that I have reached a point where I try to merge everything and create the Module with PRC Module Updater but I get a message saying that cep2_v1 cant be located.  Once I move cep2_v1 into the hak folder I get the message saying that module and custom content cant be merged.

I found this thread http://prc.athasreborn.com/index.php?topic=1471.0 which suggested I needed to download something called prccep2_merge so I found that, moved the tlk file into the tlk folder and the hak and hif files into the hak folder.

Hopefully someone can look at the screen shots and figure out what I am doing wrong.  Maybe I need to do a complete re-install! uurgh!

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks![attachimg=4][attachimg=3][attachimg=1][attachimg=2]

I think you're almost there. Try this:
1. Start Toolset and open original SoH module (without PRC)
2. Go to Edit -> Module Properties
3. On Custom Content tab find Custom tlk file - remove anything that is in that field and press OK
4. Save the module and exit Toolset
5. Run PRC Module Updater.

Let me know if you had any further problems ;)

Also, If you are running Vista or Windows 7, reinstall NWN to a different directory.  If you don't the ACL will give you problems.

Thanks a lot guys for the replies.

xwarren, I read something about starting toolset but couldn't figure out what/where they were talking about! So I gave up going down that road to fixing it.

Where can I find "toolset"? <<<I don't even know what that is!

Thanks

Ok I think I got it! I found the toolset and did everything that you suggested xwarren.  It told me that I needed add a few more cep hak files (screen shot below)...so I exited out, added the tlk haks and did it again.  This time it worked.

There was a tlk file in the custom content tab which I removed.  I hit Ok, hit save and exited.

Now back the the PRC Module Updater.  I got an error message which I posted below.  It said it it created a "merge file" to resolve the conflicts and let me keep going.  I eventually got an error message stating that the whole thing had to be aborted...the same "The module and custom content contain tlk files....."

But for whatever reason I started the game and now I was able to load the module and actually start it up.  The screen is very hazy (but I think that is by design as I am dead...I think).  Anyway I just brought in a first level character to see if it would work, went to the Gate Guardian and got killed in 1 hit.  HA!

I'm going to import my 28th level character and give this a run and hope that everything works.

Thanks again xwarren and DM Heatstroke, I couldn't have done this without your help!
