I'm having trouble installing the PRC. I have NWN Diamond Edition on Windows XP Professional, using Google Chrome. When I try to run the executable installer, an NSIS Error comes up with the text:
Quote
Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error

I downloaded it twice on Chrome and once on Firefox, and got the same error message each time. I also tried the rar with Chrome, but portions of it failed to extract.

During install, I checked show details, to see what files were corrupted. I had to download a few times to get an uncorrupted file, especiallly the prc_consortium.tlk file.
I used internet explorer 8, with Windows Xp. I also downloaded the .rar file just to see what files where actually supposed to be there, but the .rar comes with no notepad to explain where to put files. I do have some knowledge of where to put stuff, but some files extension are unfamiliar to me. I don't claim to be an expert here.

I also had to update Java and Microsoft.net to get the Character Creator to work, which I did, and now it is functioning.
See http://www.nwnprc.com//nwn/english/content/installation/jcc.htm for CC install instructions. This link should be included with download, as who would know how to add the needed files in the settings tab.

I have yet to run through everthing to make sure it works, but I will respond with any errors or fixes I attempt. Perhaps some notepads basically stating what files are included, and where they should be placed.

NWN Manual link, which I didn't look at, has all info needed.
