I'm using HOTU 1.69 + CEP 2.3 + PRC 3.3G + prccep2, which I'm about... 80% sure I installed correctly with the module updater.
I'm trying to play SOU with a level 1 warlock and I can't seem to hit the starting kobolds with Eldritch Blast. At all. The first kobold outside killed me dead. It wasn't even close. He was undamaged when I died. I got off maybe 4 shots before he killed me. All missed. I had Dorna with me, and she was armed with a heavy crossbow, and also didn't get a hit on the kobold, but maybe that was a fluke.
My stats were pretty average (12-14), except for wisdom, which was 8.
Is this typical behavior, or is something maybe wrong somewhere? Maybe prcc2.hak isn't correctly installed in SOU? I don't know what to do about this. Maybe these kobolds just naturally have an especially high spell resistance?
Also, is Eldritch Blast supposed to take a full second to cast, with the somatic spell animation (flailing hands) and everything? I haven't played NWN2 in a while, but this warlock implementation seems... slow?
Also, unrelated but significant: If I hadn't ever played NWN2, how would I have known that the warlock's invocations are charisma-based? It doesn't appear in the PRC manual anywhere, or in the game.
